“Inception” is a wonderful movie when it comes to special effects and overwhelming bombastic auditory immersion. Nonetheless, a week after viewing the movie, I have significant concerns. Specifically, the scene in which the target placed the pistol to his temple and suggested that he killed himself in order to end his dream bothers me. I am concerned that this might lead to increased suicidality as susceptible individuals attempt to mimic that behavior. Therefore, while I can applaud the movie “Inception” for its visual & sound effects, it has marginal character development and an obscure plot, but caution is advised due to this scene suggesting suicide.
