Barack Obama in the Bible

Previously when reading Zechariah, I was moved by the Holy Spirit to recognize “the shepherd who will not care” is none other than the current President of the United States Barack Hussein Obama. The Bible is well worth reading and I highly recommend one read Zechariah 11 at one’s earliest possible convenience.

Previously I also blogged about another party’s U-Tube video citing Jesus calling Barack by his first name in Hebrew: “Baraq” (sic). “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.” [Luke 10:18, NIV, emphasis added] While this is not my own discovery and is subject to question since the New Testament was written originally in Greek and Jesus may have been speaking in the language of his time, Aramaic, and may have been interspersing it with Hebrew, since these are the words of Our Savior, they merit special attention.

However, last week I came upon the mention of “Barak” in Hebrews 11:32 which refers to Deborah in Judges Chapters 4-5. Deborah commanded Barak upon behalf of The LORD to take 10,000 men to capture Sisera, the commander of Jabin’s army of 900 iron chariots. In spite of this, Barak only agreed to go if the prophetess accompanied him to the field of battle. The prophetess replied she would accompany him, but Sisera would be delivered into the hands of a woman. What was written between the lines was the message that Barak was a coward. As a result Jael, Heber’s wife, hammered her tent peg through Sisera’s temple as he slept.

More importantly, this passage takes us to the first mention of Barack in the Old Testament. Nonetheless, this is the most important mention of Barack in the Bible because it satisfies the axiom that The LORD is fully in charge of the status of kings and the fates of nations and . . . our presidents. This passage establishes beyond doubt that The LORD’s hand is upon the selection of United States’ presidents. (It may well be that the secret societies and evil ones who rule us from behind the scenes have chosen this particular president to suit their ends as well!)

In this particular verse, Barak is referred to as The LORD’s “flashing sword” that God uses in taking His vengeance upon His adversaries and, more specifically, upon those who hate Him (Deuteronomy 32:41). Truly, at this point in history the scales have tipped and now weight in favor of the evil ones because the people of the United States of America have come to hate God. In other words, today there are more people in the United States of America who hate The LORD than love The LORD. As a result, The LORD stands ready to judge the United States of America!
